The Tillman Story (Feature Film)
Produced by A&E IndieFilms, 2008
Field coordinator/producer for the award winning film about former NFL star-turned-soldier Pat Tillman and the Bush Administration’s attempt to whitewash the details surrounding his death in Afghanistan.
In the wake of September 11th, Tillman had become a poster boy for America’s War On Terror after turning down a multi-million dollar NFL contract to join the US Army Rangers. The Bush Administration did everything in its power to paint Tillman’s death in a heroic light, when in reality, he was killed — perhaps intentionally — by friendly fire.
It was an honor to support director Amir Bar-Lev (My Kid Could Paint That, Long Strange Trip) and work with Pat’s friends, family, and platoon members in shedding light on an incredible individual and the twisted effort to betray his legacy.
